Wandering Washington

We landed in Seattle, Washington at 5 am and started our adventure immediately on the West Coast. The first stop was exploring the Pike Place Market. From throwing salmon across street vendors and sipping coffee at the first Starbucks, my expectations for the trip were beyond past. I even found the notorious gum wall and contributed a piece of my own.

We continued our journey via car to Forks, a town infamous for the setting of the teen drama, Twilight. The quiet town had a very eerie vibe and made you feel as if you were going to be one of the next victims of a tribe of vampires.

Traveling through Forks

We stayed in the serene town of Port-Angeles, preparing for our hike the next day, exploring Olympic National Park. While we were venturing into the wilderness, we came across a fresh stream and even saw a bear catching his next meal. We took this as our cue to head back to town and do some shopping and exploring.

It was quite the adventurous beginning to the road trip of a lifetime.
